SCOTLAND: A WORLD OF SHOOT-FRIENDLY LOCATIONS

With its epic highland landscapes, castles and country estates, rugged coastlines and historical architecture, Scotland offers a world of shoot-friendly locations.

Over the years, AMELIA & Co have produced photo shoots the length and breadth of Scotland, building up an extensive database and establishing good working relationships with landowners along the way. This experience, combined with our hunger for scouting out new locations, allow us to deliver the best of what Scotland has to offer.

We know the country extremely well, but if we don’t happen to have exactly what you're looking for on file we can scout it for you.

LANDSCAPES

Scotland is a country of shifting light, changing skies and sudden vistas. Our Highland mountains, pristine glens, glittering lochs and rugged coastline combine to make Scotland the perfect shoot location.

ARCHITECTURAL LOCATIONS

Ancient structures from Scotland’s distant past, the grandeur of castles and estates, from industrial and agricultural buildings through to cutting-edge modernity help make Scotland’s architecture a photogenic backdrop for photo shoots.

COASTAL SCOTLAND

Scotland has over 11,000km of coastline ranging from rugged clifftops and expanses of pristine beaches to picturesque harbours and fishing villages.

TOWN AND CITY

Edinburgh, Scotland’s capital, is known for its old-town charm while Glasgow, its larger metropolitan neighbour, is recognised as Scotland’s cultural hub possessing a more gritty, urban character. Outwith the main centres, Scotland offers many historical towns and quaint villages ideal for photo shoots.
